This policy explains what personal information FixStub collects when you contact us or book a repair, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted.

This service is operated by Fix Devices Miami, the name that appears on your invoice.

What we collect

• Your phone number, and the name shown on your WhatsApp profile. We never ask you for your name in the chat.
• The service address where the repair takes place. We use the ZIP code to check whether we cover that area.
• The device and the problem you describe, and the price we quote.
• The language you write in, so we answer in the same one.

Why we collect it

• To quote the repair and agree on a time.
• To travel to your address and carry out the repair.
• To issue your invoice and honour the 30-day warranty.
• To answer you if you write to us again about the same repair.

What we do NOT do

• We do not store your chat. The conversation is not saved on our systems. It stays on your phone and with WhatsApp.
• We do not sell, rent or share your information with third parties for advertising.
• We do not send you marketing or promotional messages.
• Our technicians access your device only as far as needed to test the repair. We do not open your photos, messages or accounts.

Who else sees it

• WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages and is subject to its own privacy policy.
• Nobody else. Your data stays on our own systems.

How long we keep it

• Your address is erased as soon as the repair is invoiced. We only need it to reach you and do the job.
• Chat messages: not stored at all.
• Invoices: 5 years, because tax rules require it. They record your phone number, the date, the device, the repair and the amount — not your address, which is already gone by then.
• We keep your phone number and your WhatsApp profile name: they identify you as a customer and are how we reply to you.

Your choices

• Write DELETE MY DATA to us on WhatsApp and we will erase your record.
• You can also ask us what we hold about you, or have it corrected, by writing to the email below.
